IHN is an agency supported by the YWCA and provides 24 hour services and
crisis housing for homeless families. Their 24 hour access ensures that
no child will have to sleep on the street for even a single night.
Once every 8 weeks, Seton parish prepares and serves dinner for up to 60
families at the IHN family center/shelter. We also visit with the families,
play or read with the children or just lend an ear to parents struggling
with the difficulties of homelessness. We need help preparing the food
on our menu as well as volunteers to go to the shelter to serve and visit
the families.
We announce our next hosting dates after Mass approximately two weeks before
our hosting date and post sign up sheets on the IHN bulletin board in
Bishop Hermann Hall at that time as well.
