Parish Mission

Each year during Lent, Seton Parish conducts a parish mission to renew, reenergize, and spiritually strengthen our parishioners.  Typically, each mission lasts three or four evenings and a visiting speaker engages our parish by focusing on a relevant topic.

Mission Overview

The topic for our 2019 parish mission is "Beyond the Biggest Lie in the History of Christianity" with guest speaker Judith Dunlap.

Judith Dunlap was involved in parish ministry for over thirty years. She also worked as a catechetical consultant for ten years at Franciscan Media. She has authored a number of books including the family based series God Is Calling available on line at pastoralcenter.com. Since her retirement, Judith has continued to offer parish workshops, retreats and missions. Judith has a MA in theology and a BA in education. She is a wife and mother of five adult children and a grandmother of ten.

For our parish mission, Judith will be building on themes explored in Matthew Kelly’s latest book called “The Biggest Lie in the History of Christianity”. It is not required that you have read this book prior to attending the mission.
