Knights Award Parish Members

Each year the Knights of Columbus recognize parishioners and Council members who contribute to our parish community in a significant way. KofC Council 11187 presented the following awards during our last Membership Meeting.

Chaplin of the Year - Deacon Stephen Venturini (accepted by his family). Recognizes outstanding spiritual leaders in our Parish Community.

Knight of the Year - George Bartos. Recognizes a Knight that demonstrates outstanding dedication to the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.

Knight Volunteer of the Year - Wayne Patterson. Recognizes a Knight that contributes time and talents to the Council and Parish.

Lady Volunteer of the Year - Theresa Wessel. Recognizes a Lady that contributes time and talents to the Parish.

Youth of the Year - Ella Yost. Honors a student that displays outstanding service, Catholic Faith and citizenship in the parish and community.

Family of the Year - Michael, Michele Yost and Family. Recognizes a parish family that models Christian values, participates in church activities and performs community service.

The Knights of Columbus Council 11187 is pleased to announce the recipient of our 2026–2027 Academic Scholarship, Dominic J. Woods, who was unanimously selected for his outstanding academic performance, parish service, and strong alignment with our core principles. We congratulate him and wish him continued success in his college studies. We also extend our sincere thanks to all applicants, each of whom demonstrated admirable effort and commitment.
